Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. You don't need to believe in Reiki or have any particular spiritual or religious beliefs to experience a session. Come with an open mind and simply notice how you feel. There is nothing you need to believe, understand, or do.
-
Your session begins with a conversation about what brings you to Reiki and what you would like to focus on. You'll then settle into a comfortable position, fully clothed, while I guide you through the Reiki experience using gentle touch or hands positioned just above the body, according to your preference. We finish with time to slowly reconnect and, if you'd like, discuss your experience.
-
Not at all. Your comfort comes first. You can lie down, recline, or sit comfortably during your session. We can adjust your position at any time.
-
Yes. If you choose a distance Reiki session, we connect virtually and create a quiet, comfortable environment for your session. I will guide you through the experience from wherever you are.
-
Each Water Snake Reiki session is either 45 or 90 minutes.
This allows time to slow down, connect, receive the session without feeling rushed, and have a few moments afterward to integrate your experience.
-
Reiki may be used as a complementary practice alongside conventional medical treatment. If you are receiving treatment for a medical condition, I encourage you to discuss complementary practices with your healthcare provider. Reiki should never interfere with or delay medically recommended care.
-
No. Reiki is a complementary wellness practice, not a substitute for medical or mental-health care. I do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. My intention is to provide a safe, supportive environment for relaxation, reflection, and personal well-being.
